/usr/ports/sysutils/smartmontools broken

As the maintainer, I can hopeful answer/address some of these
issues/questions.

1) I don't make it a hard error trying to build under 4.x because the
SCSI support will work. I also currently working on 3ware support, and
that too may work under 4.x

2) The compilation problem has been fixed in the cvs version of
smartmontools, but I'm waiting for the next stable release to update the
port. You are welcome to go to http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net and
get the latest CVS version to test out.

3) I'm not sure what you mean by the 'IGNORE=' line? Sorry, but the
port side of FreeBSD is still rather new to me.
