Problems with USE_AUTOMAKE_VER variable

No, there are still ports broken: apr, apr-thread and php-gtk.

Because the i386 cluster has been running hot with other changes. and
so have I.  I don't know why you're raising this again since I've
already told you I'll be testing it this week.

Ade, the bottom line here is that you made a mistake and broke some
ports, some of which I cleaned up myself when I had other things I
should have been doing, and 3 of which are still broken.  Whether or
not a different patch has been tested on the bento cluster is
irrelevant to the matter at hand.
