FreeBSD Port: QT/ kde-3.1.3 Build problem

Build problem on 5.1-current (CVSuped as of 9:00 on Tuesday Sept 2, 2003).

The problem is in building qt31 -- the Makefile insists upon
inserting '-pthread' in the c++ compile command line. Howeer,
I get the reply:

c++: The -pthread optin is deprecated.

Then c++ returns 1 which causes gmake to decide to stop the build.

I'll be glad to provide any additional details or remote access to the 
machine.
