Ports suggestions: gedit-devel and gedit-plugins

Hmmm, does this mean that it would be necessary to install GNOME if I
wanted to use the gedit plugins? If that is the case, I'd have to be on
the other side of that debate. I am a happy gedit user, but I was a very
unhappy GNOME user. I'd hate to see it embedded in the GNOME meta port.
