Starting early next week (Tuesday probably), I will begin removing GNOME
1.4 components from the ports tree. The first phase will be to remove
the core GNOME 1.4 desktop components. They are:

gnomecore
sawfish
gnomeapplets
gnomemedia
gtop
libgtop
nautilus
gedit
xalf
bugbuddy
gnomegames
gnomeutils
gdm
eog
ggv

GNOME 1.4 has served us well, but it's dead now, and GNOME 2 has been
maturing quite nicely. Over the next month or so, ports that depend on
the GNOME 1.x desktop will either be removed or edited to remove said
dependency. Further notices will be sent before thet is done, however.

Joe
