FreeBSD Port: apache-1.3.29_1

I was going to write out an explanation but "man pkg_add" did it for me...

     -r      Use the remote fetching feature.  This will determine the 
appro-
             priate objformat and release and then fetch and install the 
pack-
             age.

That's what the -r, your magic flag does :)
