Tried a portupgrade on xplanet today and got:

Text.cpp: In method `void Text::Draw(DisplayBase *)':
Text.cpp:190: syntax error before `::'
gmake[3]: *** [Text.o] Error 1
gmake[3]: Leaving directory
`/usr/ports/astro/xplanet/work/xplanet-1.0.1/src/libannotate'
gmake[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[2]: Leaving directory

gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/astro/xplanet/work/xplanet-1.0.1'
gmake: *** [all] Error 2
*** Error code 2

Stop in /usr/ports/astro/xplanet.
** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa
/tmp/portupgrade16458.27 make
** Fix the problem and try again.
** The following packages were not installed or upgraded (*:skipped /
!:failed)
        ! astro/xplanet (xplanet-0.94)  (bad C++ code)

The path to a desireable destination
is often more difficult than the path to stay where you are.
