initial comment?

Could I ask you to try it with Gluster 9.0? I tried your version of fstab with
that and it worked for me.  It's not in the ports tree yet, but the port can be
found here:
https://github.com/tuaris/freebsd-glusterfs/tree/master/net/glusterfs9.  It's
possible that it's a bug that was introduced sometime after 7.5 and fixed in
9.0.
