Updates should be in patch format, not shar.

Please use dos2unix rather than a homegrown solution

Remove notifications in the install section, use pkg-message instead if needed

I don't think it's a hard requirement but preferably install the docs (PDFs)
without using spaces.

It would also help if you test your update using poudriere or at least
portlint.
