FYI this bug renders following images useless:

FreeBSD-11.2-RELEASE-arm-armv6-BEAGLEBONE.img
FreeBSD-11.3-RELEASE-arm-armv6-BEAGLEBONE.img
FreeBSD-12.0-RELEASE-arm-armv7-BEAGLEBONE.img

and therefore cause averse reaction in new people
who like FreeBSD on big PCs and trying to get 
into FreeBSD+ARM world which already desperately 
lacking developers and users.
