Thank you guys for looking after this, I raised the VM's memory to 2G (it was
1G), and now the compile is successful.

By the way, what is the reason behind removing the mysql connector from the
package?
As default powerdns ships the binary with mysql
(https://doc.powerdns.com/md/appendix/compiling-powerdns/),
and I do believe it would save a lot of people a lot of time if the FreeBSD
package would come with the mysql connector, not only with the postgres one.
