fontconfig-no-bitmaps.shar
I often forget how to configure fontconfig not to use bitmap fonts.
After I install FreeBSD for new PC, set up desktop environment,
and open the github.com site by Firefox,
I see bitmap fonts on the browser.
Because github.com prefers to use following fonts in this order
by its style sheet.
1. -apple-system
2. Segoe UI
3. Helvetica
4. Arial
5. sans-serif
1. is for Apple Computers, 2. is for Microsoft Operating Systems.
On FreeBSD, Firefox chooses 3. Helvetica which is bitmap font.
After installing this port, fontconfig disables to use bitmap fonts.
Firefox chooses 4. Arial if webfonts port is installed,
otherwise 5. sans-serif is chosen.
These are True Type fonts.
So, please apply the attached shar file to the ports tree.
It will help me in the future.
