Hello,

As you are the maintainer, I do not want to force you to update to the latest
release if you are not ready for this yet.  There are fixes related to hiera in
each release since 4.9.1, so maybe it's not stable enough at the present time
for advanced usage (I only use basic features of Hiera ATM).

I can update the port to 4.9.1 for now, and update it again when you think we
are ready to ship a newer version.

I may also try to help you with your problem if you can share the details of
it?
