Yes, it´s compiled with SAMBA support:

And yes, you can certainly see logs, I have provided
"sssd-logs-(centos|freebsd|ubuntu).tar.gz" files uploaded in the bug report
with sssd set with "debug_level = 9" so you at least won´t be seeing too little
information:)

I am still in the process of trying to get it working but there have been some
hurdles along the way. Now it feels like everything is set up and configured
correctly but sssd.conf fails to be generated. I believe it´s a bug that I will
report in the FreeNAS bug tracker instead.
