Dear all,

it could be, that haproxy 1.7.3 introduced a bug that causes on FreeBSD 11.0-p8
to get timeouts for nearlly all connections.

I cannot reproduce the same problem on 10.3-p11, so the problem only happens on
FreeBSD 11.

Till the problem is fixed upstream, I recommend to downgrade the port to
version 1.7.2.
