Hey, tried this patchset against bro in the head of the repository, but it
fails to apply.

I have gone through the current port and it looks like most of the patches used
are already part of v2.5.

A clean port may be a better way to do this as bro builds fine from source
without any patches.

Will look into it when I get some time.
