Hello,

Sorry for the late response, I thought that this maven port had been taken
over. Maven 3.0 is no longer maintained and I no longer use maven on a day to
day basis, so I don't really have any strong objections to this, although I
think it makes more sense to use one port (maven) to track the most recent
version move the 3 branch here once 3.x branch to this port once 4.x is
released, but there is no harm in moving now.
