I've checked this commit:

As I understand libstatgrab is not needed any more for interface plugin
(although https://www.collectd.org/wiki/index.php/Plugin:Interface says that
libstatgrab is needed).

So I've started working on patch to add INTERFACE option. After testing this
patch with poudriere you can test it on production server(s).
