In some cases having logs are useful to check things not covered by QA
warnings/errors e.g., NEEDED lines, CFLAGS/LDFLAGS. While your advice is geared
against bugzilla attachment bloat external links should work fine. Of course, a
committer can double-check but this is offset by build times or not being away
from a beefy box.
