Bug ID: 210779
Summary: lang/rust Won't Upgrade With portmaster/portupgrade
Product: Ports & Packages
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Some People
Priority: ---
Component: Individual Port(s)
Assignee: riggs at FreeBSD.org
Reporter: dal36 at gmx.co.uk
Flags: maintainer-feedback?(riggs at FreeBSD.org)

I'm getting an error when trying to upgrade lang/rust using portupgrade (and
portmaster). The error seems to be implying that the new version of rust
conflicts with the current version; my expectation would be that
portmaster/portupgrade would replace it with the new version, rather than
trying to install them side-by-side. I have a recollection that this has
occurred in the past with this port, although I don't recall which version.
Portupgrade ouput:
---> Upgrading 'rust-1.9.0' to 'rust-1.9.0_1' (lang/rust)
---> Building '/usr/ports/lang/rust'
===> Cleaning for rust-1.9.0_1
===> License APACHE20 MIT accepted by the user
===> Found saved configuration for rust-1.9.0_1
===> rust-1.9.0_1 depends on file: /usr/local/sbin/pkg - found
===> rust-1.9.0_1 conflicts with installed package(s):
rust-1.9.0
They will not build together.
Please remove them first with pkg delete.
