This port is a set of external objects providing TCP and UDP support for Pd. 

This is a dependency for enabling OSC support in Pure Data which is a very
common usecase.

The pd-iemnet is a rewrite of Martin Peach's pd-net library and originates from
 the Institut für Elektronische Musik (IEM).
