I think this looks fine.  Please also include the following notes in the commit
log from 201149 (since 7.10 already includes the patches in that bug in
upstream):

* Now supports fork and exec tracing.
* Enable support for 64-bit targets on 32-bit systems (e.g. allow the i386
  gdb to debug an amd64 binary).
