As discussed with ruby@ i've created an update of www/gitlab to version 8.0.x
even it is not in the tree yet.

The reason therefore is, that the old PR for www/gitlab has many dependencies.
Simply updating the PR would require to enhance this list by more than 10
entries. 

With writing an update we were able to get the old gitlab version into the tree
while working on an update without side effects.
