It needs a CONFLICTS_BUILD with 

e2fsprogs-libuuid

because this port also provides a libuuid.so, but then fails to configure:

checking for uuid_make in -lossp-uuid... no
checking for uuid_make in -luuid... no
configure: error: "The OSSP UUID library is required"
