GnuPG 2.1.9 contains several bugfixes and enhancements, including:
"* agent: Fix a regression in ssh-add-ing Ed25519 keys." which seems related to
#204295 .

Upgrade (see attached patch) is almost drop-in, there's a new dirmngr-conf.skel
sample config file.
