Could you try respecting MAKE_ENV in your ports ?  some commands are launched
without ${SETENV} ${MAKE_ENV}

I believe this would solve the problem (default cache is
$HOME/.cache/instantfpc and MAKE_ENV has HOME=${WRKDIR})
