There is a bug in code in DevIL library. It is fixed in official tree:
https://github.com/DentonW/DevIL

I send request to Andreas Kohn <andreas at syndrom23.de> (address was taken from
Makefile of DevIL port), but e-mail server couldn't deliver it.

Please, update the port to the current official version or at least grab commit
e8280c63e360fa87af28257347a3a5c8bf77a8d4 from the official git-tree to fix the
problem.
