A couple of options:
1) Host the distfile on a site that you have control over until 2) has happened
2) Wait until the upstream project moves to github or any other code hosting
service supporting proper downloads (most projects are doing it because of this
download issue)
3) Get a committer to host the distfile temporarily on freebsd.org until 2) has
happened

Since the distfile is not very large, I'll be happy to help you out regarding
option 3) if 1) is not possible.

Could you have another look at portlint -CA output and stage-qa? pkg-plist
looks like it's still featuring dirrm macros.
