The biinary packages repository for people running 9.3 and uing new_xorg does
not contain the new version of the ATI drivers. At the time of submitting this
it still appears to contain version 6, whereas it should be version 7.

I did not find this myself, I was informed of this when I asked on -stable
about how to get my graphics card working under new_xorg. See the (wrongly
titled!) thread here:
