If I execute this command:

pkg install perl

then 'pkg' will try to install multiple versions of perl:

The following 4 packages will be installed:

        Installing perl: 5.12.5_1
        Upgrading perl: 5.14.4_1 -> 5.14.4_2
        Installing perl: 5.16.3_1
        Installing perl: 5.18.1_1

The installation will require 148 MB more space

51 MB to be downloaded

Proceed with installing packages [y/N]:

>From some discussions on the mailing lists with Baptiste,
Baptiste would like to see that

(1) PKGNAME must be unique in the ports tree
(2) LATEST_LINK can be used to work around the problem, but
the ideal solution would be to fix PKGNAME
