As a result, locally built package does not contain these files so installing that package on another host results in non-working samba installation.


May be related to ports/180053 reporting that libtevent.so.- missing for libsmbclient port

In clean environment (i.e no samba36 installed and no /usr/local/lib/libtevent.so.* installed)

Install samba36 from ports.  See that /usr/local/lib/libtevent.so.* appear but pkg_info doesn't know where they come from:

# pkg_info -W /usr/local/lib/libtevent.so.0.9.11

Prsumably add to pkg-plist but I don't know enough to know whether these files are always installed or just with certain config opts.
