 I don`t feel that this bug have anything to do with smartmontools 
 package itself. On hardware i own it can`t be reproduces + generally 
 smartd is using only very safe commands. Fail of ATA_IDENTIFY indicates 
 serious problems with hardware. Please close this PR and re-open it if 
 needed for the system itself (or ahci driver).
