I had encountered the same issue. I have successfully compiled the port only after adding CFLAGS+=-I/usr/local/include in /etc/make.conf. And I confirm it's necessary to add "DISABLE_VULNERABILITIES=yes" too. I have no idea why. Oleg Fedorov fole at yandex.ru
