I was not able to install graphics/xv at Mar 7 2010. (xv-3.10a_13)
The error messages were following;

/usr/bin/install -c -m 0444 xcmap._man  /usr/X11R6/man/man1/xcmap.1
gzip -n /usr/X11R6/man/man1/xcmap.1
+ mkdir -p -L/usr/local/share/doc/xv/html
mkdir: illegal option -- L
usage: mkdir [-pv] [-m mode] directory_name ...


>How-To-Repeat:
cd /usr/ports/graphics/xv
make install

>Fix:
Apply my patch to the file "files/patch-Imakefile";

[root at freebsd-rulue xv]# ls -l files/patch-Imakefile
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  3582 May 22  2009 files/patch-Imakefile
[root at freebsd-rulue xv]# md5 files/patch-Imakefile
MD5 (files/patch-Imakefile) = a99bf00c7c9876d931b79d0ad976b46d
