 according to the history of ports/126345 [1], your approval arrived weeks
 before the update patch, which means you probably cannot have tested it,
 which again might be the reason why noone has thought it would be good to
 commit it, yet.
 
 Could you check the patch and send a followup to this PR, letting us know
 if you think it's really OK to commit the patch?
