This port appears to have an unlisted dependency on php5-pcre. After 
installing mantis all I could get from 
http://server/mantis/admin/install.php was either a blank page (http 
response 200) or from other URLs an error saying:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function preg_match() in 
/usr/local/www/mantis/core/config_api.php on line 332

After installing php5-pcre-5.2.5_1 all these problems disappear.
