 It appears that the port is requiring Apache 2.2 -> "USE_APACHE= 2.2". 
 This is the reason for your failed build.
 
 Since I do not remember why I did this, I will check with the original 
 author to see if it will run on any Apache versions prior to 2.2
 
 There is also a new SVN version that this needs to be based on, fixes a 
 number of bugs. I will first update the repo tgz and then submit a new 
 shar file.
