(fresh install of 6.4)
I did a install via the port of the net/ipw-firmware:
cd /usr/ports/net/ipw-firmware/
I did a "make install clean"
I double check the rc script (ipw)
[root at pbsd /usr/ports/net/ipw-firmware-kmod]# ls /etc/rc.d
ipw
all the rc scripts are gone away (deleted).
