tiff-3.8.2_1 = up-to-date with port
>Description:
This problem exists in any version of tiff newer than 3.8.0.Currently, the newest version of tiff in ports is 3.8.2_1
When using tiff2pdf to convert a tiff image into a pdf file, the resulting image gets a wrong color tint. I used the
following command: tiff2pdf -p a4 -n -j -q 75 -o filename.pdf filename.tiff
More info, as well as test images can be found at this page:
http://tingox.googlepages.com/libtiff_freebsd
The source images got converted to jpeg on upload, they can be provided on request. Or I will find another place to host them.
>How-To-Repeat:
1. Install any version of tiff newer than 3.8.0
2. Use tiff2pdf and convert a tiff image to pdf.
>Fix:
None know by submitter at this time.
