After an update of the port tree, the editors/vim port appears to be still at version 6.4.9 instead of 7 which was release on 2006-05-08.  I was wondering if there is a reason for the delay in updating the port?

Update port tree, less /path/to/editors/vim/Makefile and see version.

I guess it would be to update to vim 7 but I have no idea if there are not unerlying problems.  If so, I am happy to test patches.
