>Description:
Since a recent portupgrade (which completed without problems) both VLC and gmplayer (both of which previously worked flawlessly) consistently fail to play video, failing with the same X error in both cases:

VLC media player 0.8.5 Janus

The gui-less mplayer continues to work fine.

I am using X.org 6.9.0 from ports with the nvidia driver. I am also using Xinerama.
>How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to play any movie file with vlc or gmplayer on my desktop machine chiz chiz.
