Dear Sirs,
the gnome2-meta-port for gnome2-2.14 is missing in the 6-stable packages, although all other gnome2-2.14-packages are already there for a week now.
That way I cannot perform a pkg_add -r (my shell-config files point to the stable packages) gnome2 in order to install the gnome2.14 desktop, but I get the 2.12-desktop installed again instead. That's also the reason why a portupgrade -aPP failed.
I managed to install gnome 2.14 from the tinderbox in the end, but some packages seem to have different versions, there's even a nautilus-2.14 instead of a nautilus2-2.14, so if I have to install gnome2.14 from the tinderbox first, and then I perform a pkg_add -r gnome2-fifth-toe, I end up having both nautilus2-14.1 and nautilus-2.14 installed!
In the past I have also noticed for former gnome-versions, that the gnome2-meta port was missing in the stable-packages, I consider that a severe failure, because one cannot install the latest gnome-version from stable packages.
Please provide the missing meta-port in the 6-stable-packages as soon as possible and please don't forget in the future for the next gnome-releases either.
It would also be nice to have the gnome2-power-tools in the stabel packages as well.
Many thanks,
werner
