>Description:
Alt-Fn tty switching while in a graphical svgalib application (such as
graphics/zgv or www/links with svgalib support built-in) fails to work at all.
The user is effectively stuck inside the graphical application until it is closed.

If one starts Xorg first, before attempting to run the svgalib application and switch
to an alternate tty, the switch -will- succeed, but upon an attempt to switch back to
the tty the svgalib application is running on, the system will freeze.

Tested with the 'zgv' port:

svgalib-1.4.3_5
zgv-5.9
FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
Don't know of a fix, but an interested person may be able to find some clues by
examining/determining how Xorg implements tty switching on FreeBSD.
