FreeBSD gw.lucenet.com.br 5.2.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE #1: Sun Dec 26 09:50:40 BRST 2004 hmm at gw.lucenet.com.br:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/wipgw i386
>Description:
when rebooting the server or flushing ipfw and re-running the rules the traffic counters (ipfw count) are giving 40-60MB/s) for any counted IP for some minutes(appearently the downtime). But the ipfw counter are with correct numbers. But mrtg shows this high values.
This happens since I run portupgrade recently and now I have this versions:
perl-5.8.5
p5-PodParser-1.28_1
p5-SNMP_Session-1.07
ucd-snmp-4.2.6_3
mrtg-2.11.0,1
jpeg-6b_1
png-1.2.7
gettext-0.13.1_1
expat-1.95.8
libiconv-1.9.1_3
>How-To-Repeat:
Portupgrade -a using the most recent port tree on any 5.2.1 and 5.3 gives the same result/problem.
The problem is not happening on server using "older" ports from 1-2 month ago.
