 It, probably, makes some good sense, but, IMO, the following factors hold:
 1) Both milters (and, may be, future ports) are tighly bound to a specific
 version of this library. So, almost every upgrade of a milter would need
 to upgrade the library for some time.
 2) There has to be some standard reliable way to determine which exact
 version of the library (static libsnert.a) is installed in the system.
 To this moment, I have no idea how to accomplish this. ((
