 Well, no, as the build just stops at that point and returns to a shell 
 prompt. I shall do a rebuild of this port tomorrow to see if the error 
 occurs again. I have noticed that this does not occur under my other 
 5.3-RELEASE so I shall try building it from the copy of the ports 
 collection on my 5.3-RELEASE machine.
