 cdparanoia doesn't do a bad thing for sure... bad thing you don't post 
 your config (with plain cdparanoia, ATAPICAM vs IOCTL interface)
 
 But, for sure, this is a kernel bug, not a ports bug. It might be a bad 
 filesystem or such because it's failing in ufs code somewhere.
 
 bughunters: please change category to kern!
