 In the meantime, do
 
   cd /usr/ports/distfiles; fetch ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/unix/misc/pcre/pcre-4.4.tar.bz2
 
 or
 
   cd /usr/ports/distfiles; fetch http://ftp.sun.ac.za/ftp/linux/extra/pcre-4.4.tar.bz2
