 Firstly, thanks for your problem report. Just a couple of things, you
 marked this PR serious with a high priority, of course this is your
 judgement but considering the small number of people who use this port
 (likely) and then still smaller number who want to use them in Gimp, I
 don't personally think it is such a high priority. However, it is indeed
 a problem and should be fixed !
 
 Also, if you send me a carbon copy of your PR, I'm more likely to notice
 it exists since nobody had informed me of the problem until now.
