pkg mirrors extremely slow, why not use the ftp mirrors?

Most people who use packages more than casually simply run their own build-server.

Most of the commercial users of FreeBSD run their own internal forks.

I just have a couple of machines (there were many more…) and I still run my own poudriere server.
